Uniqueness: 4 🌟

Environment: 4 🌟

The most unique, Hotpot in the Bay Area that I've had so far. In fact, it's the most unique Hotpot that I've had in my life thus far. A lot of traditional Chinese hotpots, have a soup base with a bunch of herbs. It's either spicy or not, but a Hotpot that uses Winter Melon as part of the pot, is something very Unique. Winter Melon takes a long time to boil down to get nice and soft for eating. So at the end of your lovely meal, the waiter will cut your Winter melon into pieces and you'll have this amazing, full of flavor Winter Melon soup. The Winter Melon will be melty soft, and flavorful due to the vegetables and meat that you've been adding to the pot. A great way to end the meal. The quality of their hotpot ingredients are great, although it's on the pricier side, but because the quality is excellent it earns 3🌟. The taste is also pretty good because the ingredients are great. Note that this hotpot is only offered at night.

Dragon Beaux also has a unique selection of dim sum to choose from. The taste of the dim sum isn't as great as expected, knowing that this is the brain child of Willy Ng and Jenny Huang. The owners of one of Bay Area's most loved restaurants - Koi Palace. Thus, the hotpot is definitely the star of the show. They put a lot of their own twists into traditional dishes like the xiao long bao (小笼包), and the dumplings. Some have worked for them and some have not. So it earns them 3.5🌟 in taste all together and 4🌟 in uniqueness. The environment of Dragon Beaux is quite pretty. Modern Chinese architecture, a beautiful panel of carved wood at the door when you enter. The booths and the lights could have some changes as, so that the design is in more harmony. That's why they received 4🌟 in environment.
